Organizing ultimately starts with the decluttering process where you have to make conscious thoughtful decisions to remove any unused and unwanted items. This first step is critical and yet it paralyzes most people unsure of how to proceed. Maybe you have been there, looking at stuff you have accumulated over the years and you have no idea where to start. With a trained professional by your side, something that can take years to overcome can take just minutes to process. By doing this, it creates a sense of victory right away in your space, and cultivates a desire and excitement to move to the next step.

In this next step, items are classified into a structured order by sorting and grouping like items together, this may create a “shock value” and often it allows you a chance to make any last minute choices to remove additional unwanted items.

The final step is to organize the grouped items in such a way that creates more efficiency, ultimately giving freedom from the chaos of clutter and disorganization. No more spending hours searching for something you cannot find, or purchasing duplicates because you don’t remember what you have.

There is no one size fits all solution to this process and that is where my experience over the last ten plus years comes in. During the initial walk through process, I hear the pain points you share with me. Your emotions will undoubtedly come through as you explain what you have tried and why it isn’t working. Your body language gives clues as to what will work for you and what won’t once the process is through and you are left to maintain it. There is no point in setting up a system if it is not something you can keep up with after, and there is a system that will work for everyone.

By asking key questions, I help narrow down a system that will easily flow in your day to day life making things easier instead of being one more thing you have to “keep up with”.

As soon as I see a space, my brain immediately starts thinking, developing, and curating individualized, detailed systems and organization patterns to transform any space. I created a simple, easy to mimic 3-step process to utilize during the process, and to teach you during the process so that you you can finally feel what it is like to live a lifestyle of organization. I want you to know what it feels like to have more time in your day, spend more time with your loved ones and on your hobbies, or doing anything else BUT dealing with Clutter and Disorganization! Hello! I am Jodanna Knabe and I am the founder and Lead Organizer with Messes 2 Miracles, a Professional Organizing Service! I had a plan that started in 2010, to make dreams come true for overwhelmed people lost on where to start with their out of order space! I had a strong conviction to help, teach, and guide people towards a better life, and I knew just where to start! With their stuff!

I created a 3-step simple process to not just help, but to teach clients how to live a lifestyle of organization. While most people struggle in this area, I have literally always done this even as a kid in my own home, and from a young age I found joy in sharing that gift with others. In high school, when hanging out with my girlfriends getting ready to go out, they would be in the bathroom doing their hair and makeup, and I would be in their bedroom reorganizing their closet. Their parents loved me.

Seeing how healing it was for people to feel better in their space, and how it caused people to have less stress, and more time resonated with me! Who doesn’t need that in their life?? I realized that this is where I can best be of service to others. I once had a client in tears say “I never knew how much I needed an organizer until I hired one.” I was able to work a “miracle” in their home, transform how they live life, gave them their time back, and made their dreams of truly feeling at HOME come true!
